The Frostival Winter Cocktail Experience at the London Eye
Cocktails with 360º views. Beat that!
Get not one, but TWO loops on the London Eye with a wintery Sipsmith cocktail in hand at the Winter Cocktail Experience as ‘Frostival’ returns to the London Eye this Christmas. Now THIS is the way to do London’s big wheel and it certainly helps ease the jitters from being 135 metres up in the sky.
First up is The Christmas Classic – a sparkling champagne cocktail with brandy, gingerbread syrup, topped up with Pommery Brut Royal Champagne and garnished with a maraschino cherry. Then choose between The Winter G&T – a twist on this classic with Sipsmith Dry Gin, Sipsmith Sloe Gin and tonic, topped with a dash of warming cinnamon apple pie syrup. Or there’s The Dainty Damsel – Sipsmith Damson vodka mixed with honey and lemon juice, topped up with Pommery Brut Royal Champagne, it’s almost good for you.
People in the other pods looked a bit jealous of this…
The open-air Eyeskate rink is back too until 4th January 2015, perhaps best to do that before the cocktails though… A non-boozy option is The Frosty Guided Experience which offers the ultimate festive family day out. From 29th November 2014 until 3rd January 2015, selected London Eye capsules will be transformed into frosty winter caves framed with ice-like sculptures.
