It’s Gonna Be One Hells Of A Party | Camden Town Brewery Open Day At Its Brand New Brewery
You known the expression ‘couldn’t organise a knees-up in a brewery’? (I kept it clean, this is a family event.) Well it certainly doesn’t apply to the Camden Town Brewery, they’ve only gone and organised the knees-up of the month – actually in a brewery!
But not just any old brewery – their shiny brand new £30m Enfield brewery. They’ve thrown open the doors to friends, family and beer fans on Saturday 29th July and best off all, you’re invited!
Hop hop hooray! – sorry just had to steal that from the Camden Town Brewery website. This all-day party promises live music, pop-up restaurants, workshops, fun stuff for kids and (most importantly), beer for the adults.
The Camden Town Beer team have pulled out all the stops to create a special edition Enfield brew – designed to commemorate the new brewery. The team will also be leading guided tours providing a first look at the site and its state of the art brewing facilities.
So it’s just about the beer? Not on your nelly! You can enjoy delicious food from the best of London’s food scene including award-winning Venetian restaurant Polpo, Homeslice Pizza, Byron Hamburgers, Caravan’s acclaimed coffee and some BBQ action from Texas Joe’s and Walter and Monty.
If drinking and eating isn’t your thing (in which case, it’s unlikely you’re reading this), Camden Town Brewery have continued the festival vibe with legendary London music venue The Social setting the day’s soundtrack with an exciting line up of musicians and DJs at the bandstand.
There’ll be screen printing and design workshops curated by the fab Beach London Gallery and a skate park from Slam City Skates – alcohol and skateboarding, what could possibly go wrong? As mentioned before, this is a family event and the kids haven’t been forgotten about. There are activities including a bouncy castle, soft play area, face painting, balloon animals and candy floss.
Saturday 29th July looks like it’s set to be the house-warming party to beat all house-warming parties, I doubt very much that we’ll have to stash a few tins of lager in the washing machine!
