Canine Kick It? Yes You Can! | MEATliquor’s Hot Dog & Cocktail Menu In Aid Of Dog Charities
Wanna eat good food and help support man’s best friend? (or person’s best friend if we’re being politically correct). The guys at MEATliquor have unleashed a brand new dog themed food and drink menu for two months to support local dogs charities, pawfect!
If you order The Littlest Hobo (£8.50) hotdog, £1 from each sale will be donated to a local dogs charity*. This top dog is made from a traditional Beechwood smoked beef wiener, chargrilled and covered in Hobo beer cheese sauce, topped with crispy onions and a dollop of ketchup. As good as the smoked beef wiener is, this dawg is all about the crunch of the onion and smooth richness of the Hobo beer cheese – the perfect combo, both flavour and texture.
Alongside the special hotdog is the ‘In The Dog House’ cocktail menu has six drinks including the St Bernard (£10) with £1 from each sale donated to a local dogs charity.* It’s a whopper of a drink, served in a barrel with a blend of Brandy mixed with Luxardo Cherry Sangue Morlacco. On the other side of the scale is The Pink Chihuahua (£8.50) created by the one and only Dick Bradsell – tequila, fresh lime, grenadine, orgeat and egg white. £1 from each sale of this drink is donated to the Benevolent charity.
The special hotdog menu and six strong ‘In The Dog House’ cocktail collection is available right up until 1st May at all MEATliquor restaurants across London, Bristol, Brighton and Leeds – as well as MEATmarket and MEATmission.
* The charities are: London: Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Brighton: Dogs Trust Shoreham. Bristol: Holly Hedge Animal Hospital. Leeds: Whitehall Dog Rescue.
