Next in line at the Bread St Bar Sessions at Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen is Wingmans – the UK’s very first authentic ‘Wingery’. The Bread St Bar Sessions is a series of pop-ups is a celebration of food, street culture and music, reflecting the culinary diversity of London.

Each five-piece portion of wings comes drenched in a homemade sauce of your choice, including: Signature Hot, Buffalo (Ade’s old fave), BBQ, Oriental or Honey Sriracha (all £6). There’s sides available also, such as Slow-cooked pulled chicken bon bons with house BBQ sauce and Truffle mac ‘n’ cheese balls with ranch dressing (both £5) and the Loaded gem salad (£4).

OUR VERDICT: For weather wimps like us this, this is an ideal way to nibble on some street food in warm and cosy conditions, no queue and most importantly, a toilet that isn’t a Portakabin. Plus it provides an excuse to visit One New Change for a bit of retail therapy – a shopping centre that isn’t overrun with teens and pushchairs.

Be warned, the Honey Sriracha wings are hot, like really hot, they got the words the wrong way around when they named these babies. Wingmans have teamed up with our faves Meantime to help cool things down a little, the Meantime London Stout (£6.50) goes great with the Chocolate brownie (£5). Don’t be fooled by the brownie by the way, this is no ordinary brownie, it is incredibly gooey. Thank God that hand wipes are provided here as this is seriously messy business, best enjoyed with someone you’re not trying to impress.
