Let Me Entertain You… And Save You up to £30k | The Entertainer
BOGOF! And no I’m not being rude. Saying buy one get one free is maybe a more polite, if a little long-winded way of putting it. But BOGOFs and discount vouchers are everywhere. What used to be limited to just supermarkets and junk mail have become big new and big business. It’s very rare that you ever need to pay the RRP for anything, all it takes is some dedicated Googling.
The downside is that the supermarkets’ BOGOFs are usually for items you don’t actually need – two boxes of nearly out of date Hungarian fig rolls anyone? As for these discount sites, they tend to offer you things you don’t actually want – how about 92.3% off a six month waste water management course in Bognor? I thought not and don’t even get me started on the completely arbitrary terms and conditions!
So what makes The Entertainer any different? Well they are a Dubai-based international company offering a portfolio of incentive offers. They have arrived in the capital to launch the Entertainer London 2014, which is available as a state-of-the-art App or a voucher book. Both the book and app feature the same offers, with the book allowing customers to tear out paper vouchers to redeem their offers, whilst the app allows customers to browse and redeem offers using their smartphones. The app features loads of user-friendly features and filters. I especially like the map that shows your nearest money-saving opportunity. The savings calculator is pretty cool too, it allows you to see your savings for each offer used, you can watch your savings mount up.
Their press release boasts that you can save over £30,000 this year with 670 buy one get one free offers on amazing restaurants, spas, attractions, fitness centres and much more across the capital. This obviously means you have to spend over £30k but with an initial outlay of just £39, you will get easily get your money back after just one day trip. For example a trip to London Zoo (save up to £26), a main course at L’Autre Pied (save up to £30) and maybe an Elemis spa treatment (£85) saves you a whopping £141. Add to that a free night at a top London hotel and you’ve saved a small fortune!
The Entertainer (London 2014) also gives you a free bonus hotel supplement featuring 120 2 for 1 offers at four and five-star hotels and resorts around the globe (such as Melia, Shangri-la and Banyan Tree). It’s simple to use, you can even download a ‘lite’ version app for free to give you a little trail run. If you’re still a little confused here’s a little Q&A session.
