The Big Feastival returns this summer to Alex James’ Cotswolds Farm

It’s almost that time again – Jamie Oliver and Alex James‘ family event the Big Feastival supported by Electrolux and in support of The Better Food Foundation is set to return on 31st August – 1st September with a great line up on Alex’s farm in the Cotswolds.

The line up in the Electrolux Big Kitchen includes some big names, such as Valentine Warner, Gennaro Contaldo, Bruno Loubet, Gizzi Erskine, Mark Sargeant, Rachel Khoo, Tom KitchenSimon Hulstone and of course, Jamie Oliver. The chef we’re looking forward to the most is the wonder woman that is Sabrina Ghayour, we’ve been swooning over her food tweets for what seems like forever.

Popular London restaurants will pop up down Street Food Alley’ such as Beiruit street food from Yalla YallaBhangra BurgerAsian steamed buns from Yum Bun, meatballs from The Bowler and mighty pizzas from the Pizza Pilgrims.  Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park will be on hand for something more local.

Those wanting to get their hands dirty can visit the Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets Cooking Classes, Weber BBQ Experience, Table Sessions and of course, the return of Alex James‘ Cheese Hub.

‘I’m very excited to have such great foodies and musicians back on the farm. The whole weekend was so enjoyable last year and Jamie and I are working to make it even better for 2013’ said Alex James.

Brand new for 2013, Big Feastival welcomes TV personality and farmer Adam Henson with his Cotswold Farm Park to the Little Dudes Den. Kids will be kept entertained with fun and games including art and craft workshops, kids’ kitchen masterclasses, country fayre games, welly wanging, bubble shows, a vintage funfair and the return of the haystack mountain.
